Litech is developing a sensor to detect flammable, incorrectly sorted batteries in various wastestreams.
Litech provides clarity to a fragmented and potentially explosive waste stream. We have developed what we believe to be the world’s smartest metal detector for the waste industry. Our technology utilizes electromagnetic induction spectroscopy on a multispectral frequency to distinguish and classify various metals based on their unique magnetic signatures. By employing AI, we can classify metal alloys, even when objects are buried under layers of waste. This allows us to detect and remove dangerous items, such as lithium-ion batteries and gas containers, which frequently cause fires and explosions in waste facilities (often on a daily basis).
