Seaqure Labs
Seaqure Labs is revolutionizing the aquaculture and animal feed industry by producing high-quality, sustainable mycoproteins using fermentation technology. By upcycling industrial sidestreams, Seaqure Labs minimizes waste and provides a protein-rich alternative to traditional fishmeal and soy-based feeds.
Their adaptable and circular production model allows localized manufacturing near feed producers, reducing transportation costs and emissions. The company’s mycoprotein ingredients are tailored for aquaculture, pet, and livestock feed, offering superior nutritional value while drastically lowering land and water use compared to conventional protein sources.
By leveraging FDA- and GRAS-approved fungal strains, Seaqure Labs ensures safety and scalability in its fermentation-based approach. The aquaculture sector, which heavily relies on fishmeal and soymeal—both volatile in price and environmentally taxing—can benefit from this cost-effective, sustainable protein source. As global demand for seafood rises, Seaqure Labs is positioned to drive the transition toward a more circular and resource-efficient protein supply chain.

FibreCoat
All areas of our lives from our clothing to communication satellites are based on materials. The higher the volume in these markets, the higher the price pressure. As a result, the best technical solutions cannot be used in mass markets. FibreCoat is changing that. By producing composite fibres at high speeds, we achieve exceptional properties at low cost. Aluminium-coated basalt or glass filaments already available on the market achieve the properties of full metal fibres at one-tenth of the price. This cost advantage makes highly technical applications inexpensive and entirely new products feasible for the first time. These aluminium coated fibres are also an affordable solution for shielding against EM-radiation (5G, Wifi,...). In a world where everything is becoming more and more connected EM-shielding will become a part of our daily lives. We are convinced that continuous progress in material sciences will sustainably improve our environment, our society, and our lives. Therefore, in our pursuit of innovation, we realize sustainable, accessible, and affordable materials for our planet and beyond.

Arda
Arda is a chemistry technology company transforming waste into smarter, circular biomaterials that are completely animal and plastic-free. Arda's first transformation is turning beer brewery and whisky distillery side streams into a novel, leather-like material called New Grain that can win on scale, price, quality, and speed. You can sign up to our quarterly newsletter on the Arda website – www.arda.bio

Circular Rubber
Circular Rubber Technologies converts the rubber from industrial end of life tires into a rubber reclaim that substitutes virgin rubber material. With our process, we provide tire manufacturers with a high quality alternative to virgin rubber at significantly lower CO2 emissions and stable cost levels.

Lineat
Introducing a new aligned fibre material format with superior formability to simplify composite manufacturing. Our fibre alignment technology produces highly aligned discontinuous fibre tapes that exhibit mechanical performance comparable to continuous fibre composites and have a greatly improved formability to simplify existing manual and automated processes. This forms the basis of high-performance sustainable composites by allowing the use and re-use of reclaimed fibres in composite parts, reducing the carbon footprint of composite materials. The tapes can be used as a direct substitute for continuous fibre UD tapes in existing supply chains for various markets including sports, marine, automotive, and aerospace.

Mallinda
Mallinda lowers the barriers to adoption of thermoset composite parts by improving the economics and reducing the environmental impact of composite part production. Mallinda’s technology enables 1-minute in mold dwell time for high volume industries like automotive. In addition, Mallinda’s resin can be depolymerized in solution for a closed loop, energy-neutral system for the recovery of thermoset resin and woven/full-length fiber from end-of-life composite products.

Extracthive
At Extracthive, we strive to innovate for a more sustainable industry.
Our activities are dedicated to circular economy, to make sure that once primary raw materials are extracted from the ground and enter the anthroposphere, they stay in the loop for as long as possible.
To this end, Extracthive has developed the PHYre® technology, a solvent-based process to reclaim high-quality, green, and affordable carbon fibre from composite waste.

Plyable
Plyable is bringing automation to the design and manufacture of composite tooling. Disrupting this time and cost consuming process. Specifically, plyable is tackling the fundamental challenges associated with automated tool design, solving complex mathematical problems generated by tasks such as feature recognition and mould ability analyses. Furthermore, we are developing this inside an architecture designed to implement advanced machine learning algorithms capable of carrying out these and more complex mould design tasks automatically. With Plyable, all the client does is drag and drop the component. Plyable takes care of the rest, instantly.

iCOMAT
iCOMAT has pioneered the revolutionary Rapid Tow Shearing (RTS) technology, the first ever defect-free fibre-steering process for composites. This game-changing solution has helped customers unlock new levels of performance from composites, enabling them to manufacture lighter, more cost-effective products that perform better than ever before. Originally a spin-out company from the University of Bristol, iCOMAT has developed a patented manufacturing process for advanced carbon fibre composites which are lighter, stronger & more cost-effective than the state-of-the-art processes for the aerospace, automotive & marine sectors. iCOMAT’s innovative technology, Rapid Tow Shearing (RTS), is the world’s first automated composites manufacturing process that can place carbon fibre tapes along curved paths without generating defects. Its defect-free fibre steering capability realises ultra lightweight composite structures beyond the limit of the conventional straight fibre designs & complex geometry which is not manufacturable using current automated manufacturing technologies. Unique in the world of automated composite manufacturing, iCOMAT's technology is set to revolutionise transport, driving performance & cost-benefits across multiple markets such as aerospace & automotive. Beyond state-of-the-art lightweighting solutions - Composite materials are anisotropic, they are only strong in the direction of their fibres. iCOMAT’s specialist technology steers the path of fibres, enabling optimisation of mechanical properties at any point of the structure & ultimately improve all aspects of structural performance. This produces lighter, more efficient components & uses material only where needed in the most efficient way so use of raw materials & overall production costs are drastically reduced.
